Dr Abdul Kalam International Undergraduate Scholarship 2021 at The University of Sydney

Dr Abdul Kalam International Undergraduate Scholarship is established by the University of Sydney to celebrate the commitment of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam (the 11th President of India) to education, and his endeavours to support outstanding students to develop as future leaders.

This is a tuition fee scholarship supporting high-achieving international students to pursue an undergraduate degree at the Faculty of Engineering, The University of Sydney.

Dr Abdul Kalam International Undergraduate Scholarship Value

• The Scholarship will cover 50% of the normal full-time academic tuition fees for one year only.
• The Scholarship will be offered subject to the availability of funds.
• No other amount is payable.

Dr Abdul Kalam International Undergraduate Scholarship Eligibility

• Applicants must be International students who have an unconditional offer of admission to any undergraduate program in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Sydney.
• Applicants must have completed an Australian Year 12 qualification, or an international senior secondary qualification equivalent to an ATAR of at least 98.
• Applicants must enrol full-time in the semester immediately following the award of this scholarship.

Dr Abdul Kalam International Undergraduate Scholarship Selection Criteria

• The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit based on the applicant’s performance in an Australian Year 12 qualification or an equivalent International senior secondary qualification.
• The Scholarship will be awarded by the Associate Dean, Indigenous Strategy and Services, Faculty of Engineering, or their nominated delegate.
